Music is really hard to make from scratch; we figure with some good web-based tools and a community of collaborators, it can be easy and fun. Whether or not you are a musician, Jamglue makes it easy to express yourself through music!

We let you upload and record music, remix it with other folks' stuff, and share the results. Here are the main features that make this possible:

• Mixing on Jamglue is a snap to pick up. You can start off making basic mixes and building off of others' work. No special tools required-- it all works within your web browser. Try our example mix to get started!
• Jamglue comes with a friendly social network. As you start making mixes you also gather friends and fans. We'll send you a note when someone uses on your stuff, or when someone you're a fan of publishes a new mix. Sign up for your free account to get started.
• Jamglue showcases the hottest new mixes. Even if you're not ready to show off your mixing skills, you can always keep tabs on the great music the community is cranking out on the most popular mixes list. Once you find a mix you like you can open it up the Jamglue mixer, make changes, and save your own copy. The original creator will automatically receive credit for their work.
• Remix contests connect you with big artists. Jamglue works with record labels and artists to host remix contests. The artists listen to the mixes and personally pick the winners, who get prizes and publicity from the label.
