How We Built It

	Jamglue is built in Ruby on Rails on top of memcache and MySQL. Speed of development is really important to us, and this platform has kept us very happy.
	The Jamglue Mixer is built in Flash. It handles playback of multiple MP3s well, and nearly every web user already has the player installed.
	We use Amazon.com's Simple Storage Service (S3) for media storage and streaming, and we use Amazon.com's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for serving pages as well as backend audio processing.
